The Snackerator, an online Calgary Stampede Midway food generator, was originally created in 2014 as a goofy side project for family and friends with my former co-worker Mason Hastie. When the COVID-19 pandemic came in 2020 and the Calgary Stampede was forced to cancel, Mason and I decided to rewrite, redesign, and reboot the generator, mainly as a way to spend (remote) time together and make ourselves laugh. Our ridiculous labour of love wound up being featured on the CBC.
